ftlog uses a common import utility for adding existing information from previous forums. It operates on a simple text file basis, so is easy to write code for. This also means if you have an unusual or bespoke forum you can convert the data too.

It is envisaged that other users will develop and share their own tools for converting to this standard format. Tools will be added here as they become available. In the mean time, post on our support forum in the "Importing Existing Data" room.
Please contact us if you have a specific question regarding forum conversion. We hope to be able to allow conversion for almost all forums eventually. These will be implemented as requests for forum conversion come in and is a high priority.
